Yes, Ethiopian citizens can now get an eVisa for South Africa. The electronic visa system for Ethiopians was launched in February 2022.

Travellers who do not meet South Africa eVisa requirements for Ethiopians need to apply for a different type of visa.
South Africa Visa Requirements from Ethiopia
Ethiopians must be visiting South Africa for tourism or other approved activities.
The eVisa is valid for short stays in South Africa. It has been introduced to make it easier for Ethiopians, and other eligible nationalities, to visit the country.
Ethiopians still need an embassy visa or permits to live or work in South Africa.
Documents Required to Obtain the South African eVisa for Ethiopian Citizens
To get a South Africa eVisa from Ethiopia, applicants need:
• Ethiopian passport valid for at least 30 days after the date they will leave South Africa
